Join us for the 50th Annual National Institute on Social Work & Health & Human Services in Rural Areas, hosted by the National Rural Social Work Caucus and NASW West Virginia. This milestone event, held at the beautiful WVSOM Conference Center in historic Lewisburg and online, will bring together social work professionals, health and human services providers, and community leaders to explore the unique challenges and innovative solutions impacting rural communities.

The theme for this year’s conference, “Celebrating Our Roots, Forging Our Future: Resilience & Renewal in Rural Social Work,” reflects the enduring strength and transformative potential of rural communities. Over the course of this conference, attendees will engage in thought-provoking sessions, dynamic panel discussions, and collaborative workshops. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from experts, network with peers, and gain insights into the intersection of social work and healthcare in rural settings, and earn up to 15 hours of CE credits.

Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a newcomer to the field, this conference will provide valuable tools to strengthen your practice, enhance community impact, and foster meaningful change in rural areas.

Celebrate 50 years of progress and connection in rural social work, and be part of shaping the future for those who serve rural populations. We look forward to welcoming you to this historic gathering!
